Well, keep something in mind. It';s most just the I-5 corridor that is infested with libscum vermin.

I live in SW Oregon, and most of Oregon is still pretty conservative. Look at what they did in Roseburg, when Obama came out to "console" the families of the Umpqua community college shooting.

People in the streets with "OBAMA GO AWAY... NOT WELCOME" signs. And Roseburg WAS the last bastion of conservatism on the I-5 corridor, but even now is being taken over by these Kalifornia cockroaches that have been streaming into Oregon and Washington and Texas. Even the shoot at Umpqua is a So. Cal dung beetle.

But over all, the PNW is still fairly conservative in the rural areas, away from the I-5 corridor of libtardism. Unfortuantely, these masses of idiots in Portland, Eugene, Salem, and Medford, control the state politically. JUst like the imbeciles in Denver control Colorado politically, while much of Colorado (apart from the front range) is more conservative.

Yeah I know Bellingham is. Been there before.
I know you get south of Olympia toward Rainier and that, you get into less liberal areas.

I live on the west side of the Cascades, but 90 miles from I-5, on the Oregon coast. Way out in the sticks. East of the Cascades is barren high desert and super cold in the winter.

Wouldn't want try and survive winter EAST of the Cascades, if the SHTF. Not unless you are set up well with LOTS of wood.

Over here in the rain forests, lots of game, fish, edible plants, water, and warm temperatures in the winter.

Very true the last paragraph. The smaller towns are generally pretty pleasant to be in. I don't like staying in the urban areas very long when I'm there - I'm an outdoor person anyways.

Yeah sorry, should have clarified. I, like most people who lived in that coastal area, didn't consider PNW to be East of Cascades- that's more straight out "West".

You're safe east of the Cascades. It's up and down the whole coast that's got a major problem.

Yeah I would personally stay at least 50 miles away from either side of I-5. Olympic Peninsula I have spent time on, very pleasant - down to earth people. Washington Coastal towns are nice too further towards Oregon. Not many people at all in those areas.
In fact I'm looking for work in the area - at least for the season.
