I just hope the Cascadia fault keeps holding. If that fault ruptures kiss everything west of interstate 5 goodbye in Washington and Oregon. Not to mention the tidal wave the would wipe out half of the coasts on the Pacific. Japan got nailed buy a tsunami in about 1700 without warning, they had no idea what had caused it until it was recently discovered that it was caused by an earthquake on the Cascadia fault. I know if it shakes for more than 45 seconds where I live (15 minutes from the ocean on the Washington coast) I have about 10 minutes before the tsunami hits. And the worst part is my town was built on a filled in swamp, so liquefaction is going to be a huge problem and the roads will probably be impassable. At an elevation of about 5 feet I am pretty well screwed.

Wow, there is crazy amounts of strong quakes!! So glad I'm not in Los Angeles anymore!!!
