I am very hopeful Trump can carry the entire thing. I believe he needs 50% of each district correct? Then he'd win all of the delegates?
What happens if he drops below 50% in a district? Will he only lose a delegate in that district? Or does this open up a proportional take on the rest based purely on percentages then?
I'm still learning your election processes there so it's a bit confusing still.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70291150 There are a lot of "what if?"s today. Fortunately in the end (at least in New York) they'll be in Trump's favor. Quoting: Miggy And why do not you answer the poster to a simple question what if Trump gain less then 50 % in 27 districts, how much delegats he takes then? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72057002 In all, 95 Republican delegates and 291 Democratic delegates are up for grabs. On the GOP side, each of the state’s 27 congressional districts have three delegates to award. If a candidate wins 50 percent of the vote in a district, he gets all three. If the winning candidate doesn’t hit 50 percent, he will get two delegates and the second-place finisher will get one, provided he gets at least 20 percent of the vote. The remaining 14 GOP delegates go to the statewide winner — if the candidate wins at least 50 percent of the vote. Otherwise, they’re distributed proportionally to all candidates who get at least 20 percent of the vote. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71138286 well, that's what I call answer, thank you very much.
