Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965: Opened the floodgates to Latin America
Under LBJ's watch (although championed first by JFK), the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, also known as the Hart-Celler Act, dramatically changed the cultural makeup of the U.S. forever.

According to the article:

"The Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, also known as the Hart-Celler Act, abolished an earlier quota system based on national origin and established a new immigration policy based on reuniting immigrant families and attracting skilled labor to the United States. Over the next four decades, the policies put into effect in 1965 would greatly change the demographic makeup of the American population, as immigrants entering the United States under the new legislation came increasingly from countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, as opposed to Europe."

And in case you don't already hate LBJ and his slew of progressive legislation that made FDR look like a conservative:

"...on signing the act into law in October 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson stated that the act “is not a revolutionary bill. It does not affect the lives of millions .It will not reshape the structure of our daily lives or add importantly to either our wealth or our power.”

This helps to explain how people of European origin are becoming a minority in the U.S.

The watershed of American history — the critical turning point — was the passing of The Open Immigration Law of 1965, of which, its chief proponent, Senator Jacob Javits, proclaimed at its passage, “Open The Flood Gates!”

Indeed. He said "Let's open the gates!" But it's the exact same sentiment.

Why would they want to "open the gates"?
I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you.

The Jews couldn't gain the power they had today if whites remained a majority, that's why they opened the floodgates.

And the people that pushed the hardest for this are the same ones that started the NAACP.

Could be, although the NAACP was started in 1909.
