Warner Brothers put out Merry Melodies in 1931

It's Merrie Melodies now!

Looney Toons* was not alone ...
Does anyone else remember differently?!

(*It's Looney Tunes now.)

Edit: corrections

Double edit:
The song ... "Merry-go-round-broke-down"
Merry Melodies.
It was the first word of the song ...

People can't remember 10 minutes after seeing something.

I thought I was having a moment, honestly.
It's why I opened a poll instead of declaring I was right.

Something is STRANGE about this.
Merrie sounds like Mer-Rie instead of Merry.

Merry Melodies, what is Mer-rie suppost to be?!

Yes. The thing is. We would remember if it was Merrie, because it would be so unusual. Same thing with Berenstain.

This is EXACTLY how I remember it.

In school we had just learned about words with 'y' at the end, when I asked one of my parents why that word ended in 'ie', yet sounded the same.

This was in the 60's.

This is ridiculous.
Never have I ever seen my favorite show as a child labled "Merrie Melodies"

Merrie =/= Merry

Something is extraordinarily amiss
It's always been "Merry" not "Merrie" for me.
This is creeping me out so hard right now.

As a die hard Bernstein tard I'm gonna have to split with you on this one. If you grew up with tiny toons I think that's what causes a blur in this memory. My most recent mindfuck was while watching Harry and the hendersons. I'm a die hard car guy and I know damn well they drove a fucking jeep wagoneer, not some fucking early 70s ford station wagon. Although I like the wagons too that was not in the movie.

There are a lot of small things that over the past few years I've completely written off.

The last major one was "If you build it, HE Will come" instead of 'they' will come.

This one has screwed my brain so hard tonight.
I absolutely swear it's never been "Merrie" it's ALWAYS been Merry.
