Mice in the garage doom. Has anyone successfully used an ultrasonic rodent removal device?
Was hoping they would just go away but now I have to finally deal with this. Would like to try this device instead of trapping them.

Cat's don't work. Magic rocks don't work. You have to kill rodents to the last.

Yah I know lol but that's not an option. Would rather drive them out and let the hawks have some food.

I found a dead one today inside an empty large pail on top of a bench. That's when I knew it was getting out of control.

I spent 20 on one at Amazon and it works great. I live in the country so I had mice and rats. I was spending 25 a month on poison until I found the electronics device.

I have an ultrasonic rodent removal device. Most of the time she's just sonic, but if she gets a whiff of mouse, then suddenly the air shimmers and there's a squeak, and no more mouse. Then she goes back to a gentle sonic purr, along with the cracking of small bones and the digestion of the corpse.

Can you post the make and model? And maybe the vendor? Those devices can be all over the place, and if you've found a good one, we'd like to know. My cat is good in the house too, but there are other places, like my storage and guest house, where there are no cats.

I saw a guy who has livestock use a 5 gallon bucket like you get from Home Depot. He drilled 2 tiny holes on opposite sides at the top near the lid rim. He then found a small plastic medicine bottle that was completely round, drilled a hole through the attached lid and the bottom. He then ran a clothes hanger through the bucket, then the jar then through the other side of the bucket, bent the remaining wire down.

He filled the bucket to about 3/4's full of water, took a jar of peanut butter ( one to be used for this purpose only) and slathered peanut butter around the entire small medicine jar that was placed directly in the center of the bucket.

The next morning you will find MANY drowned mice in your bucket. Empty, and do over until your rodent problem is cured.

This is not for the faint of heart. AND NEVER USE if small children are in the home. This is for enclosers that are outside of the home use only.

I had same problem.
You need about a dozen glue pads and a dozen poison blocks.
Within a couple days problem is solved.
But always keep pads and poison to prevent a comeback.

As well, cut the heads off of a couple and pike them onto toothpicks.
Them put them outside around garage.
It sends a message.

Re: Mice in the garage doom. Has anyone successfully used an ultrasonic rodent removal device?
Go to home depot or lowes and get a electronic mouse trap, THEY WORK!
Got one for in my barn and i started getting rats chewing into feed and stuff and i didn't do anything at first, thought they would go away but didn't happen.
Tried rat traps, they just unset them (and how the hell that happens is beyond me cuz they snap shut like RIGHT NOW) and ate the peanut butter so a friend told me she used the electronic one and got rid of her rats so i went and cringed at payin $26 dollars for one but knew i had to and sure enough....i got one each night for 7 nights!!!
Don't have to touch them, and they don't suffer, i just tossed them in the field for the birds or critters to eat!

If you have younger people in the house they might be able to hear it. My inlaws had one and I could hear it long before I even made it to the front door.

Terrible sensation

Remove all possible food sources and seal their entrance point, or just like the border with Mexicans you will never control the population. Then buy one of these for around $12:

Bait it with peanuts and you will catch live mice. Take it outside the next morning, away from your home and release the mouse. They are very timid and nothing to be afraid of. If you want to kill them there are lots of other options, but I like to give them a new start outside of my home. Repeat, seal the entry point!

I just used peanut butter and standard mouse traps. After so many of them were killed the rest got the point and left.

You can hose up an air compressor to em too...

I shot one and it and the nail went through the leg

of the chair and nailed the little fucker to the leg of the coffee table.

Since there ain't any poison used, you can shave em

and fry em up with catfish corn meal.

Sheet, They taste just like chicken !

Great with beer mustard !

Had a woodpile in the basement before and all the insects that come with that. Also pack-rats basically owned down there. 1 of those ultrasonic things and they all left.
