I honestly think the Libya-Syria gambit has been an utter failure.

Libya was meant to have a swift transfer of power to a pro-US regime that would end the idea of the Gold-backed Dinar, yet the parliament is talking about implementing it and destroying everything the Europeans and US sought to do by overthrowing Gaddafi.

Syria is an even bigger disaster. The civil war that NATO perpetuated by supplying arms and funding to Islamic extremist rebels invited a strong Russian military presence to swoop into the country, wipe out those rebels and take control of the situation - not to mention resurrect a bunch of Soviet-era bases. Talk about f**king up someone else's gig!

Now the Russians and Syrians are about to move in on Raqqa, where ISIS has retreated to under heavy bombardment. They've been defeated.

And the FSA and Al-Nusra are being crushed too. The future looked so bright for them. The US said the FSA would replace Assad and there would be a "unity government". So much for that.
