Re: Divine Colors Conclusion: Echoes of the Past
After going back to Cooper’s original files he found that the astronaut had written ‘unidentified object’ in the area he was exploring rather than ‘shipwreck’.

‘Then it made sense to me why it wasn’t identified as a shipwreck… he had to mean it might be something from another world,’ he said.

‘Gordon believed in aliens. He believed that we had visitors from other planets and he also believed that a lot of these things landed in this particular part of the world.’

"There is no doubt this area is prone to rogue waves," Simon Boxall, an oceanographer at the University of Southampton and one of the scientists on the team, told Live Science. They are possible "anywhere you get multiple storms coming together."

Rogue waves are steep and tall, like "walls of water," and they often hit unexpectedly, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The tip of South Africa, for example, is very prone to them, where waves from storms in the South Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean all come together at once, Boxall said. Indeed, there were similar disappearances of big container vessels and tankers off the tip of South Africa throughout the years, he said.

This also holds true for the Bermuda Triangle, where storms can come from all directions, like Mexico, the equator and farther east in the Atlantic. If each wave can reach over 30 feet (10 meters) tall, occasionally they can coincide at the right moment and create a rogue, or "freak," wave that can be over 100 feet (30 m) high.

I’ve seen the Johnny depp version. I didn’t like it and tried to watch the original.
Chemical imbalance manipulation didn't appeal to me.

Nice, hope the weather is not too hot.

Yep. Just the way mom made it. Unsweetened with 8 teabags. Extra strong.

Also brought some zucchini bread I made 3 nights back, to munch on.

Here's the recipe, if you can read cursive.

Two Christmases back I was watching The Christmas Story, when my in-laws stopped by unannounced.

She had never seen it and the end scene racism, set her off like a bomb. I told her it was made in 80s. That didn't matter to her.

 Quoting: Fancypantz

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

The first story in the collection tells of a group of yellow bird-like creatures called the Sneetches, some of whom have a green star on their bellies. At the beginning of the story, Sneetches with stars discriminate against and shun those without. An entrepreneur named Sylvester McMonkey McBean (calling himself the Fix-It-Up Chappie) appears and offers the Sneetches without stars the chance to get them with his Star-On machine, for three dollars. The treatment is instantly popular, but this upsets the original star-bellied Sneetches, as they are in danger of losing their special status.

This continues until the Sneetches are penniless and McBean departs as a rich man, amused by their folly. Despite his assertion that "you can't teach a Sneetch", the Sneetches learn from this experience that neither plain-belly nor star-belly Sneetches are superior, and they are able to get along and become friends

I memorize catch phrases or weird quirks in movies I find amusing.

Oh yeah, then was a bit demented in characterization with races definitely.

I didn’t realize how violent Tom and Jerry was until I looked at it. What does that do to the psyche of those taking it in?
