Message Subject GLP Red State Rubes Wrong Again: Seattle's Retail Prices Static
Poster Handle Anonymous Coward
Post Content
One year after raising minimum wage -- or should I say, one year after all the tools living in trailers in debtor welfare red states saying Seattle would go bust, all is well and retail prices are static.

Behold, rubes. All that bootlicking, and you aren't even right.

More than a year after a new minimum wage took effect in Seattle—$12.50 an hour now for small employers, increasing to $15 an hour by January 2018—prices at most stores haven't gone up.

Before the minimum wage law took effect, most retailers said they would have to charge more. So far, that hasn't happened.
In a new report, researchers from the University of Washington presented data that showed "little or no evidence" of price increases in most sectors. Before the minimum wage law took effect, most retailers said they would have to charge more—and most low-wage workers were worried that they would have to spend more for necessities. So far, that hasn't happened.

Thats because the ones who were barely scraping by have already closed over the last year! And expect more to close as the wage goes up....LIBTARD!

Restaurants In Seattle are Closing Down at an Alarming Rate, Is the $15 Minimum Wage a Factor?

A new minimum wage law is about to go in to effect on April 1st in Seattle, Washington, and some are saying that restaurants there are starting to close as a result.
