The bridge is a couple of miles out of town off of FM 1963. According to Sheriff Parnell McNamara, several suspicious devices were found, including a bottle filled with liquid and wrapped in tape, a possible detonator device and a cooler. He said his team is going to try to x-ray the items. This is a developing story. Check back for updates. Oh no! I want to be safe! Please just take away all my freedoms and rights immediately! |

It was harmless fun but there's no way kids could get away with that stuff today. We learned chemistry by trying to make different stuff. Granted nitro was a bit stupid to make at home but we were experimenting. Quoting: Switcher Someone I didn't know, in Texas, made a dry ice device with a 3 liter bottle once... He was with a bunch of friends about twenty years ago. They had made a whole Quoting: An Enchanter Late 70 s in Hurst TX a couple brothers did exactly that. They created Nitro Glycerine and decided to dispose of it at the gravel pits behind the Bell Helicopter Factory nearby. One of the boys was killed, I dont remember the extent of the injuries to the surviving brother. I did not know them however they lived down the street from us and I remember the police and fire department having the block closed off while they search their home. |
