He was with a bunch of friends about twenty years ago. They had made a whole trunk load of 20oz and 2 liter bottle dry ice devices, so they only needed to add a little water and screw a lid on for action. He must have had a fun afternoon. Saving the 3 liter bottle for last, they decided to do it on an "abandoned" road and watch it. Quoting: An Enchanter He said it swelled up so large it looked like a cartoon. The bottle got to be over three feet tall and just kept going over about 10 minutes. There must have been an insane amount of pressure because even he was afraid to get anywhere even kind of close to it. Then, a car started coming towards them out of nowhere. He said the last thing he saw out the rear windshield, as they sped away, was a man getting out of that car to inspect the enormous soda bottle in the middle of the road. He hopes the man did not poke at it... Oh, ouch! Great story! 35 years ago I worked in professional theatre at a performing arts center in New Jersey. We used dry ice for a lot of different shows there, of course. Sometimes we'd stick pennies in a block and watch the coins jittebug! One night my production manager, kid at heart regardless of age - or IQ, lol), decided he wanted to see what would happen if we dropped a huge chunk of dry ice down the john... Wow, that was cool! |

Quoting: eagleheart66 Oh I'm sure there is no illuminatti connection to this. No theater staging at all. Yes, that was sarcasm. Lol...that caught my eye too. "the container found just outside Rosebud off Farm to Market Road 1963." The "1963" seemed to ring a bell too. This was found in Texas, right? Hmmmm.... |

[link to www.kcentv.com] UPDATE: One of the suspicious devices was an IED. To diffuse the device, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives blasted water on the container found just outside Rosebud off Farm to Market Road 1963. IED was designed to blow shrapnel. Sheriff said it would have been extremely dangerous had it gone off, which it was capable of. There were no injuries. The liquid found in the IED is being sent to a lab for analysis. ROSEBUD - The McLennan County Sheriff’s office bomb squad has been called to check out suspicious devices found under a bridge Tuesday night in Rosebud. The bridge is a couple of miles out of town off of FM 1963. According to Sheriff Parnell McNamara, several suspicious devices were found, including a bottle filled with liquid and wrapped in tape, a possible detonator device and a cooler. He said his team is going to try to x-ray the items. This is a developing story. Check back for updates. and so what begins?? A fake devuce obviously not functional if anyone is stupidcenough to bur shotgun shells in there. Even a rock could be dangerous if they explode but they never explode for the most part. It wasnt detonated and it didnt go boom, itmsounds like nothing more than what an ignorant person would cobble up. |

Blowing shit up used to be a rite from adolescence to teens, now its terrorism. We used to compete at the beach to see how high we could launch a steel rubbish bin and cops would watch on . Now they call a bunger a pipe bomb or an ied. Very sad. |
