Victoria Sharp's Mother has been arrested for taking her children to the Oregon standoff to sing for those there!

Her children fled their home en masse.


Odalis Sharp, 46, of Auburn, Kansas, faces a felony charge of interfering with law enforcement and two misdemeanor counts of battery of a law enforcement officer, according to Shawnee County officials in Topeka. She was arrested at her home last Friday and released on bail the following day.

In an interview Tuesday, Sharp said state officials have custody of seven of her 10 children. She said she didn't know the whereabouts of her other three, including 18-year-old Victoria Sharp.

The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office confirmed Odalis Sharp's arrest, saying in a statement that deputies responded to allegations of abuse.

"Individuals in the household reported on-going abuse at the residence," the statement said, without indentifying those involved. "While at the residence, a vehicle arrived on scene. The passenger in the vehicle, Odalis Sharp, 46, of Auburn, became resistive and eventually her actions resulted in her arrest."

One of her sons told Carlat about one beating, he said.

“He described a spanking that consisted of 47 swats,” Carlat said. “He described that after 27 spankings, the child started to bleed from the nose, and 20 more spanks occurred after that.”

Sharp has faced scrutiny before from state child welfare officials when her 15-year-old son ran away from home in 2011 and claimed to authorities he was abused.

The son told police that "as a form of discipline, Odalis had placed him on a bread and water diet for the past 2 weeks," said a Kansas Court of Appeals opinion issued last October. Odalis Sharp conceded that, saying she got the idea "from an encyclopedia which indicated that in the early 1900s the prison system fed inmates this diet," the court ruling said.

A pastor familiar with the family told police that "home life is very toxic" at the Sharps, the ruling said.

The court rejected Odalis Sharp's appeal of a state finding of abuse, concluding that "substantial competent evidence supports the agency findings of abuse and neglect."

its hard to say whats actually going on here... im inclined to wait and see what else happens. the children are alleging abuse - all children at some point allege abuse as means of munipulation to effectively "get there way". its the in the nature of a child to fight dirty. with that being said we also know how insidious this government truly is. communist regimes are known for twisting the rules to suit there purpose. generally if the ruling party doesnt like whats going on they simply throw the offenders in jail and conveniently forget about them as a means of control towards the general population to keep them in line. if they cant find a legal means to put / keep them there they are known for making it up as they go along or using blackmail and subversion / coercion to get what they want, CONTROL. the article said she had problems dating back to 2011 when this all started yeah? all families have "problems" its varying degrees of problems. my experience has been that super religious "zealots" tend to have more systemic underlying psychological problems than other families. case in point - i grew up with a super religious zealot as a child. didnt help she was bipolar to boot. when i was an infant she tried to kidnap me from my parents. as a child she repeatedly threatened to "burn the house down with me, my sister, and my parents in it" - do you know WHAT this does to a child of 6 coming home from school to find a message that literally doesnt end on the answering machine (it was the kind back in the 90's that had a cassette tape in it and when one side filled up it just flipped over) for simply not going over to visit? when we would visit usually it would consist of a very inaccurate sunday school lesson or otherwise scripture becuase she was VERY certain that we didnt attend church since my mother was the "devil" according to her. my uncle started to become the same way years down the road before he left our home state of california for oregon as a jehovas witness. the reason he became a jehovas witness he described as not having to celebrate holidays with her or having to recognize her birthday or anyone elses for that matter. in this way he could be free of her. for my graduation, we managed to keep it a secret since mine didnt happen as planned but at my sisters she managed to "con" school security into getting in even though she didnt have a ticket and had the nerve to tell my sister that she was just like my mother when she wasnt acknoledged. im not going to say what happened after that becuase im ashamed of my response however i do have to say that ive never seen a 180Lbs woman run across a football feild in heels SO VERY FAST LIKE THAT BEFORE OR EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE. eventually i left california for other reasons but i NEVER have to look over my shoulder again to make sure im not being stalked or have to keep my dog close to me when i walk. so you see, the degrees of abuse vary, the statements of individuals vary, and government is not trustworthy enough to say that it even makes a difference when more abuse is traded for abuse in more cases than the cases that actually have a happy ending. we have to see what happens so please dont pass judgement just yet. im sure there is soo much more to see.
