They already give people Pre-check for a flight without the screening. I don't know how they decide unless you have already been investigated.

I get it about 2 out of three flights. I have got it one way but not the other. If yu pay them you have a better chance of belng selected they told me.

But it is no guarantee.

You may be right the government always has an agenda. I do know this my wife applied in Colorado and didn't pass the test. The question ls had zero to do with the actual job. Slot if it was defining words that she hardly knew let alone used on a daily basis. That is one of the main reasons they don't have enough employees. The test is s joke.

I hate places that employ like that. I once had to take an SAT style test in the middle aisle of a video rental store that was timed. There were customers reaching around me and asking me what I was doing the entire time. The questions were HARD. I didn't finish in time because of the distractions and didn't get the job. This was all after passing 2 interviews. For a video rental store. Such b.s. When are we going to learn that SAT questions are in no way indicative of someone's intelligence level or capability of doing a job?

One of the reasons behind all this crap is to do just that. They don't want us traveling anywhere. They're trying to scare people from airplanes, trains and cruise ships. They tried making gas too expensive to be used for leisure travel. They want us to work and go home. That's it. It's a lot easier to control the population if they aren't mobile.

Then they control the media, the cost of accessing the internet and cell phones to limit and censor what information we're allowed.

It is a simple test to see if you can read at an 8th geade level and understand written instructions. Most people pass this test if they are even vaguely literate. The problem id after this test is taken, NOTHING HAPPENS. Then 6-12 months later after you've given up and found a better job that doesnt require you to do sweaty FUPA inspections they send you an email saying you need to show up in 3 hours to an airport in another state to do your physical screening. Lolol fucking inmates running the asylum

I am also a frequent business traveler, at least three different airports a week, sometimes more.
Pre-Check is no different than obtaining a concealed carry license, background check, fingerprints, pay the fee. I don't see how they are obtaining anymore info then they normally do.

That being said, I did notice a HUGE uptick in lines two weeks ago, at every airport I was in. Spoke to a TSA goon at one, she said it was summer travel-BS! They were only manning one scanner, when they had three available.
This is a union ploy for more money, employees, etc.

Missed onward flight thanks to TSA at Washington Dulles – must have been around 100 people in line and only one TSA person. The next checkpoint consisted of the rudest people I've ever encountered in my life (welcome to the USA!). The irony is we had three hours to make the next flight but missed it due to the line of people.

Never EVER again will I use this airport.

The staff at New Orleans were the opposite, professional and friendly.

Last week I received a free pre-screening on my return from Las Vegas. Saved me a whopping 15 min. I still had to remove all metals from pockets for the scan.
