they are focused on child rearing, so if you dont have kids you likely dont have much in common with them

Sometimes it is very stressfull, sure.

But I also have stopped being a completely self absorped and selfish person since having my son. And I love him more than life itself, and he is amazing to be around.

Honestly I understand your perspective, I loathed the idea of having a kid for a long time. But it is something that cannot be explained. I habe heard it described as finding a room in the house you never knew was there, and that is pretty close. You can't know until you do it.

I would have posted the same thing you did ten years ago. Absolutely. And if you choose not to be a parent, totally get it. But I wouldn't give one second of my son up for a life like I used to have. Honest answer.

I agree OP. Kids cause stress and numb the parents' ability to think critically. I saw it happen to my own friend, he turned into a MSM zombie. It was a rather sad process to see him change slowly into that which I hate.

Exactly! Having kids DISTRACT humans from exploring their reality. Kids are so demanding and controlling(just survival skill) that the parents forget all ideas of finding real Truth.

They marry, have kids, get a mortgage, job, bills, debts, stress, sickness. Life is effectively over for them.

It is all about distracting people from real life experience.

men expect women to work and rear kids and clean and cook...or even one of those extra things...most, if not all women want to stay at hme with the kid(s)....men place too many expectations on women.this is a societal sickness
