Just ask yourself this. If having kids is such a great thing, then why does it make people so unhappy, stressed out and pissed off?
That can't be a good thing.

Kids cause the unhappiness, so how is that a societal problem? wrong the problem is wages havent increased to match the cost of living also, there is some aspect in soxiety of keeping up with the jones men expect women to work and rear kids and clean and cook...or even one of those extra things...most, if not all women want to stay at hme with the kid(s)....men place too many expectations on women.this is a societal sickness
