If they could show you an entire world map of people moving from country to country you will finally understand why holding on to one culture is impossible. Travel, mind and space equals a more fluid society with fluid beliefs. Impossible to hold on to and know about only one culture.
UNLESS we somehow get knocked by a few hundred years and lose the capability of all modern conveniences.
