Jet contrails, you can hear them flying in the background.

So if I filmed a pterodactyl but there was the sound of a crow in the clip, you'd think it was a crow (or maybe a Predator)?

I swear to god one day driving i saw one fly over head it was huuuge and yeah - who knows!?

If you go to crrows YouTube channel, he explains that it only happens during certain lunar phases. So it's not all the time.
 Quoting: Lorac_az

Guess why. - Because at his location the moon is only during certain lunar phases in a position so that passing airplanes can produce the waves.

Re: LUNAR ANOMALY
Jesus with the shills already...

1) Two different people on two different continents have been proven (within reason) to have filmed the same event at the same time.

2) In one of the first lunar waves ever filmed the camera is MOVED while it is occurring and the effect is happening on the moon.

As stated before there are like 12+ videos of this being caught and the naysayers along with the curiously intrigued need to go do their research.

Just like any other juicy "theory" or "paradigm shattering" shift in understanding there are countless supporting details such as the shadiness at ALL OBSERVATORIES under institutional control (no such thing as a well funded observatory that isn't under institutional control) in regards to filming the moon, statements made by the "establishment" astronomers and interactions between them and the youtubers as well.

Folks if this interests you or speaks to some intuitive part of yourself then proceed as usual and ignore the trolls.

Re: LUNAR ANOMALY
I found the full live stream video.

Anomaly happens at about 19:20.

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

It looks like he has to keep adjusting the scope as the Moon moves up and to the left all the time. So he's using a 3.5" reflector then and the Moon is reversed.

I've got to try this with my 4" scope. I had no idea a 3.5" could get this close.

I'll have to look into his setup. Maybe he mentions it in his many other Moon videos.
 Quoting: Sobriquet™

dont get me wrong I would love for this to be true. but others have filmed the moon for hours upon hours and have never seen this wave. How do you also know its really live? Couldnt they say its live and it actually streaming a recording?

Like I said I hope there is something to this wave thing but I just dont trust anybody. I guess I would have to see it with my own eyes to believe.

The fact that crow has caught this many times but others cant at all is highly suspicious in my opinion

Also, a few photo experts confirmed that the wave is contained within the borders of the moon.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72277828

Which is idiotic since there's nothing visible in the image beyond the borders of the moon. What's the atmosphere going to distort beyond the borders of the moon? Camera noise? Yeah, no. You shouldn't expect to see the wave extend beyond the borders of the moon unless it's a problem with the camera itself.

How about putting something in the view frame, like a hair or whatever, and then we should be able to see if it affects that or just the moon.

I know nothing, so if it's

that video is even more BS....a plane causes a distortion only on 1 part of the moon not the whole moon in a slow steady wave...i will send this foootage to the astronomy project here lets see what they say

Re: LUNAR ANOMALY
What you are seeing is a refresh when the camera is zoomed in slightly. The reason you only see it on the moon is because it's the only object in the field of view. The black space around the moon doesn't have any defined shape so it can't produce a wave.

Re: LUNAR ANOMALY
Have you not noticed when in a warm day the warm air over a road gives the same optical effect. Or the how the hot air over a flame distorts light in the same way.

My first thought it that what we see here is a front of warmer air in the atmosphere moving across the field of view. You can already see some type of flickering distortion all over the image befor the bigger wave.
