REPORT COPYRIGHT VIOLATION IN REPLY
Message Subject Vegan lecturer, 34, who attempted to climb Mount Everest to prove 'vegans can do anything'... only to die from altitude sickness

Its doubtful her diet affected either her cause of death or her husbands congestive heart condition on the mountain.

Or is it?

She died of altitude sickness, and too little oxygen.

Iron is necessary to create hemoglobin, which is the protein used by red blood cells to deliver oxygen to the brain.

Women of reproductive age (she was 34) are particularly prone to iron deficiency.

Thought everyone knew this and that vegetarians and vegans just willfully ignore the health consequences of their dietary choices.

So the red blood cell thingy is important.
