Seeing this the Buddha said: `When a person is mindful and thus knows moderation in eating, his ailments diminish, he ages gently and he protects his life.' I agree with this all, I was vegetarian for years, been a vegan for 1, but have really started to see the benefits of my diet recently since lowering my food intake. Like why feed the toilet just as much as you feed your face?? That toilet could be another persons mouth. Vegetarian and vegan diets are not healthy nor is anything above moderate fasting. The flesh is to be managed, not ignored. |

They are inversely related, meaning that when the "physical" glass is full, by default the "spiritual" glass is empty, and vice versa…. thus FASTING helps you to get to a place where you can sense the spiritual in a heightened state. It is biblical, and applies to many religions. Today people do nothing but indulge their flesh… so the western man wouldn't know anything about it… always feeding the flesh…. God says to seek Him and stop living for your carnal desires… food, sex, lust, etc…. Try it out!! and thanks for reminding me too. |

More than that tho Even when I only eat once a day i sometimes feel that way.Im a Taurus and Im constantly thinking about stuff.I used to worry about everything.I've learned that when i did that I never had any energy no matter what I ate.I would wake up tired.Gor the past few years Ive changed how I react to things Ive always been a mellow easy going type It take a whole lot to get me fired up.But if I do get to that lvl its bad news.So I try to think ahead and about things before I act. This caused alot of over thinking and worry. It would cause low energy and bad headaches. Now that I dont worry as much I have tons of energy and hardly any headaches. |

Unless you're born with a birth defect mutating your genes, we're designed to eat whatever we want whenever we want and the body will assimilate only what it needs and discards the rest. My body maintains a perfect body weight regardless of diet. Some people that would do the same as me would have diabetes and be morbidly obese by the time I finish this post. Best example is looking at nature that aren't exposed to gene mutating human concoctions. You'll never see a fat bird is what I'm saying. Do birds write a lengthy paper about personal consumption based on scientific knowledge? No. They eat what they want when they want. Unfortunately the majority of society has shifty genes and no diet or any consideration will help them. |

I would eat 2500-3000 calories between the hours of 12 pm to 8pm and then fast until the next 12pm next day. Pretty much a 8 hour window to eat and then 16 hrs of fasting. Felt great doing this. I would also every couple weeks schedule a 24 hr fast. During these fast I would workout. My workouts during this period were amazing every time. I felt stronger, faster and overall had much more energy. I suggest everyone, especially those who struggle to lose weight, to take a serious look into Intermittent fasting. It changed my life for the better. |
