it just seems like in the late 70's and early 80's we had all these tv shows and movies about space travel and aliens etc. like they were conditioning us for some kind of big announcement

but then by the late 80's it all pretty much went away

was there a change of events or something that we'll never know about?

If it wasn't for the Russians beating us into space and if it wasn't for JFK telling us to beat them to the moon, then we'd still be grunting like apes at the monolith.

Without those two things we'd have zero space capability to this very day.

JFK was about to spill the beans and progress us about 100 years in the span of just 20 years. But it got himself dead before that could happen, killed by TPTB (Big Oil, Bankers and NWO / Builderberg's)
