Most do not see death as the beginning of a wonderful new chapter.

When you die you go to heaven or hell.

You must "die" in this realm to move to the next, last and ultimate existence. Why medical advances to live in this realm forever is the greatest rage against God and you possible. The problem is the people around you think you are cold for seeing death in a different light.I think of death most days in a good way.Losing the fear is a good thing.
I think we are actually here until we realize how not to come back,that is the lesson.

i think it is WELL possible that we relive this life, over and over again, making tiny changes every time, which lead to vastly different lives led. maybe Groundhog Day was them letting us know how it works?

my reason for thinking this is the fact that particles within our atoms exist within our atoms, but also disappear elsewhere, constantly. where do they go? different dimensions, where our alternate selves exist?

those others selves are having experiences, memories, none of which WE know about. YET. I think we visit each one, until we get it RIGHT, then we move on.

trouble is, how many shitty incarnations do you get to live before getting it right?

regardless, I reckon death for the individual is an intensely joyous experience. it's only sad for those left behind, obviously.

The space and time from your conception to your death exists without end. The entire realm, frame after frame constantly implodes inward and down, from everywhere, towards everywhere, towards the destination Pole which is the infinitesimal Singularity.
