You didn't like a joke I see...
any how...it is almost futile for pure translation from Slavic to modern English.... maybe English of times William Shakespeare..... but nobody needs that much of vocabulary. For example ...how do you translate word " HOROVOD"...yes simple it can be circle dance....if only it was that simple.
In Slavic language horror represents so many social thing like..... friendship, trust, peace, love.....and only then it takes form of people join in almost ritualistic representation of open group participation of slow and dreamy song/dance.....around fire....around holly tree.....birthday person...newlyweds.......how can you translate this in English ?
