Slow day on this site it seems.
Maybe I dreamed of time distortions because it seems like time is all out-of-order or something. Maybe it just feels like it's passing slow today because I'm so bored.

My mind is inconsistent. Upon occasion I feel easily inspired. Or totally indifferent to life. Right now, the latter.

There was another part of the dream where I was in this hospital and there was a little girl with a terminal illness and her name was "carson" and she wanted me and the person I was with to help her die...pretty morbid shit.
Don't know what something like that could mean...again probably nothing...but it was a depressing note to wake up on...

would this make more sense of the dream as far as emotions..?

I should specify on the blue, it was dark blue, almost like deep sea colored.

Emotions, hmm. Yes, I think emotions were involved. The "hotel" has a sort of meaning to me. And there was a "mystery man" that I sort of "fell for" in "another life". It felt like an out of character dream for me to have.

what sort of personality did you sense the 'mystery man' had..?

I felt panicked, like I'd broken time, stained it, and when it was all swirled and contaminated, I felt I'd broken a very good watch as well...I was trying to fix/clean it...I cursed my curiosity...

The mystery man, he was sort of a gentleman with a Victorian feel...I wasn't supposed to get close to him though, because there was somebody else in the hotel I was 'supposed' to seduce...

interesting.. did you feel helpless to fix the watch or did you feel like you just needed to bring it back somewhere and didn't have the time right then..

and compare the personalities or features of the one you were 'supposed' to seduce vs the victorian.. what strikes you as different between the two..

was one funny the other serious?

I'm actually not sure who my 'target' was. I don't remember, just my employer getting annoyed with me for not following instructions.

Trying to fix the watch was like...I guess a good example was when I spilled a whole carton of beet juice on the floor a few days ago...you know that terrified feeling of helplessness when you realize that something extremely annoying has just happened that you now have to deal with somehow and can never undo?

And to make it worse, the more you try and scrub away the stain, the more you make it worse and worse - luckily the beet juice from the other night was spilled on a tile floor, but if it had been carpet - it would just go deeper and deeper into the cloth the more you tried to scrub it out. Trying to clean the watch was just like that.

It started as a single dot in the center of the face, and then as time ticked the dot turned into a blue line that eventually covered the whole face of the watch. Eventually you couldn't see anything remotely resembling time at all, it was just a blue smear.

They are generally pretty accepting of custom aviis.

so.. hotel is not home but is a home for those who need it..

this is important because you were not in your home, therefore you were out of your heart's comfort zone..

the man you were supposed to seduce made no appearance, that means you changed your plans before they could find fruition (not to say what your plans were or that the man should be taken as literal instead of metaphorical, that's up to you)..

the victorian man was interesting because he represented where your interests lie.. don't know again if 'victorian' should be literal here or rather a representation of what you want in love..

the watch represents your kharmic cycle (the blue) and this seems pretty certain to me, and with your despair over it's breaking it seems like you may be uncomfortable with change outside of a schedule..

all in all, I would say that your efforts in life have altered your life trajectory so far that your soul is literally trying to tell you about it.

I don't think the men should be taken literally rather than a representation of your desires, however they manifest.

I have to wonder though if you had a past life that maybe you found love and kharmically you were tied to find him again, but something you did altered that..

that's my theories, salt heavily.

Weirdly, there is a game on the 3DS called "pocket card jockey" - where you play a race horse jockey who succeeds in races by successfully playing solitaire well - it's very addictive. I suck at it though.

I am going to make a thread about the clone but it's not time quite yet.

In my dream last night I was gripping a book and asking myself to make sure the book was real. I traced my fingers over the letters. r. i. n. a. What were the rest? I seem to recall at least four other letters of the book's title. I held the book, felt the pages. It seemed very important to make sure it was a real book. I opened it and started reading but the level of writing was juvenile to me so I stopped. Since waking up I am wondering about this book. Another part of my dream, I took acid and immediately fell into my mattress made of what looked like foamy rocks. I sank into the material becoming part of it. I felt "I am both the fraction as I am the whole". I was the rocks and the space between them too.

And then there was Hinoka. But she's for another time. Work in four minutes. Work. Again. Yup. Life rocks.
