That is exactly right. The Supreme Court cannot have it both ways.

They can't say we have no right at all to bear arms in public. The same logic they used to say it doesn't specify concealed or open carry. Well guess what - you can make the same argument that it doesn't say right to openly bear arms in your private property or public space. So many challenges with teeth lie ahead. And if they try to go the path of cannot even open carry in public - then a Constitutional Convention would surely get enough votes.

Lets say they do win at the SCOTUS and they rule it reasonable for concealment to be left up to the states, but open carry is constitutional - then any state failing to allow it would be acting unconstitutionally.

The whole thing is unconstitutional and it will blow up in their face. But it may take years and many legal challenges until that happens.

I told my neighbor years ago - There are two things every man in America needs to decide and once they do their lives will become less stressful and their families much safer.

1. Our rights are not given by someone elected. They are inherited by our humanity and bequeathed by a creator.

2. Know where you line is and decide what you will do if someone, foreign or domestic tries to cross it.
