I think the rules are different for the Nation of Islam than for Mideast Muslims. I could be wrong though. I know Ali's wives and kids don't wear proper Muslim attire either.

Ali was EVERYTHING that one could think of when we think of American. Strong, has his morals and sticks to them even if he has to suffer because of it.
