do rifles kick like shot guns?
don't laugh... I'm not a gun person. yet.
I mostly kill zombies with knives... and my ill manner.

Stay with a .22 or .223/5.56 go for the bigger rounds, nikkki to hell with the smaller rounds...screw that wait what? do I need bigger equipment? I'm just trying to kill some zombies... in the event that zombies... happen. and what is the range? I don't want to get near the zombies, so I want something with longer range. .223 is a good choice for smaller people like women and teens. I'd trust the effectiveness out to 300 yards. if you believe your target will be further, then 308 is best bet but takes more training, and get a heavier weapon, I prefer HK-91 or FN-FAL they weigh around 10-12 lbs.
