another dumb question. if there is a gun grab which ones will they collect?

am I better off with a rifle?

gun grab is immaterial.

decide your purpose for the gun.

hunting?
hunting moose?

self-defense?
self-defense at home?

etc, etc.

gotcha.
I want to snipe... zombies... at a distance.
don't want a cheapo gun.
short and light and easy.

and quiet.
do rifles have silencers? (forgive me).

Snipe zombies at a distance..
The .25-06 is the flattest shooting, most accurate rifle for medium to larger game I know of, but the rounds are scarce and spensive, so the next best thing is the .243.
It doesn't really kick, shoots flat for 200 yards and just a hair low at 300.
High velocity boat tail wreaks havoc on impact.
I blew up groundhogs so bad they looked like sock puppets.
I'd try to find a deal on a Remington 700, older Winchester or Ruger rifle with a good scope, (3 to 9X) with a bipod.

Don't even kick, flat as a laser beam.
