Americans are completely isolated from every aspect of meat processing so they can scream "those people!" because they don't witness it. I'd venture to say that during the course of it's life, a typical USA factory farmed animal is actually treated worse.

animals in a typical usa factory often cannot even walk around, they are kept in cages so small they cannot develop any muscles in their legs without artificial hormone injections and often atrophy in their enclosures.

That's a shitty abattoir. They need a bolt machine at the very least. Man-strength and sledgehammer force is not accurate enough to cause a cow to expire. It's harder on the man than the cow, really. He will eventually pull a muscle and have to be on paid leave. Also, putting leather on that dirty floor is a health hazard later.

No, YOU shut up. I've been a vegetarian all of my adult life and one thing I know is that you win anyone over with being judgmental and holier than thou. The goal is to stop animal suffering and to change hearts. People are conditioned to animal diets and some people go all in, at once, to not eating animals, but others do it gradually. ANY way that works for people to change is a change for the better, even if they start out getting rid of red meat, then fowl, then fish, etc. Insults and acting like you're superior will not change hearts so please stop and think before you drive people away. It's about the animals, not you.

Steaks are so delicious. Especially after being rubbed with a good mix of steak spice. I first sear it on high (aftet the olive oil is boiling hot) for about 30 seconds, then flip it for another minute, but with the dial turned down to 7 because the pan is now burning hot. Then I turn down the heat to medium for about 10 minutes and wait for it to caramelize on that side. I then flip it again, sprinkle some more steak spice on it, wait about 3 minutes and voila. Great steak.

Better when it's grassfed beef though.

Oh and by the way. I plan on eating steak for the rest of my life, I'm even thinking of getting my hunting license. I know lots of people who love eating meat and I guarantee you will never win by having meat removed from our tables.

I suspect this anti-meat movement is a product of counter-intelligence because of exploding demographics. Not enough meat for everyone, so lets replace with with soy, food fillers, cheap sources of protein, etc...

I might be wrong but this is the first time in the history of mankind that anti-meat movements exist. Most people probably join the movement because they want to look cool by joining a holier than thou cause, while the real motivators are those that understand the true reasons: Exploding demographics and the reality of PEAK FOOD.

That's an ignorant statement right there. If you KNEW what tbe Bible said, you would know that in the beginning, animals were off limits as a food source. Man was allowed to eat plant life only. After Adam and Eve sinned and Abel killed his brother and pilled human blood, then God gave them the right to kill animals. I won't go into more details but that's about how it goes. And blood spilled requires a blood sacrifice in the Bible's Old Testament. If men didn't spill blood and sinned in the first place, then no blood sacrifice would have been needed.

Its not "shipping", you are selling the animals to someone, like if you sell a Kitten or Puppy.
The buyer is the one who "ships" them.
And the Buyer is the one who is responsible for how they are treated.
So take it up with the "current owner" of the animals.

If the person you sell the animal to, is cruel to it, then how is it not the fault of them? Take it up with them according to the law.

I agree that displays of unecessary violence towards animals are wrong, because they can traumatize people witnessing them. Not because they traumatize animals, but because they traumatize people. That's the issue here. A cow didn't write this post, a person did. Cows don't care, and don't remember, if they did they would have mounted a revolt by now. If a human had the same brain capacity as cattle, they would be treated for dementia. And people with dementia are aware of very little, even abuse, so how can we humanize animals? Because of their cute eyelids? The sound of their moos? We have dominion over animals. We dominate them. They are not our equals. That being said, we have to act responsibly and manage our food sources reasonably, and when you have 7 billion mouths to feed, sometimes you don't have a choice but to cram cattle in a tight space. The solution to this? Stop buying cheap imported meat, only buy local grassfed beef, but be ready to dish out your cash, unless you plan on buying wholesale and freeze it. If I were to kill an animal, I would do it quick and painless, not because I care about hurting the animal, but because violence is a necessary evil and it must be done quickly. Participating in repeated acts of senseless violence can desensitize humans and make the more accepting of violence towards other humans.

But I still like eating meat, but I do it with respect for the animal. I think vegans go to far, posting these imflammatory videos in the hopes of turning people away from meat.
