Terrorist attacks is one of them - Military confrontations - Natural disasters - Serious accidents - Terrorist attacks - Violent deaths - Rape - Personal assaults Any situation which triggers fear, shock, horror, and/or helplessness. A study found that although males experience more traumatic events on average than do females, females are more likely to meet diagnostic criteria for PTSD.
