I know nothing about finance but I watched Fox Business on friday and someone from the floor of the stock exchange told Liz Claman that tons of stocks (not their language) were about to be bought. I also saw that at times the drop decreased, as if people were trying to buy on the cheap. So I think things will be okay. When the Dow falls, people buy up the cheaper stocks, right? Or maybe the Feds buy them? Either way the lower it goes, the more the stocks will begin to turn around at cheaper prices.

Every comment I post is double posted. Does anyone know what is causing that? Is it my computer or the website? No one else is having that problem so I think it must be me.

My friends father who had put so much blind faith in the market cut his losses on his $10k and will be selling all of it on Monday. He's hoping to keep at least $5k afterwards. His total sum at its highest peak was $18 and he thinks he *may* get 5k out of the deal now.

EDIT: He also said he has talked to someone that sells the .999 gold coins and he's buying all of them he can with whatever's left of the $10k.
