At this point, I think it really is the nature of the system.

For years and years I've wondered why it felt like I was showing my "bosses" how to be human beings(how to treat their employees with compassion/understanding), they would mimic my (behavior/speech) I used towards my co-workers, and now I get it. Those types of positions in society, attract those types of personalities- the power hungry, the liars, the materialistic, the manipulative. Afterall being a "boss" is about controlling the actions of others.

Some may disagree and that is expected, yet there is an undeniable truth, at least in america, that most "bosses" are incredibly callous and money hungry people with plastic smiles/or no smiles at all, who see others expressly as tools to make them more money.

Not to be declared a sexist. Though in my experience I have found that women are the absolute worst "bosses"/"managers", too often they direct from a place of personal emotion and rarely ever do they direct from a place of logic.

He'd be great to work for.

I have worked for myself 30 years. I do work one day a week, my part time job and even that dealing with a boss is very hard to do but one day a week is it for me.

I had an Anglo/Indian female boss - she had a serious personality disorder and is no better now, 16 years later so I’m told.

One day I said to her:
