Holy shit....thats crazy, you might want to change the title to 'graphic like a snuff film'

One of the most rad things ive ever seen. What kind of training do these guys have?

Whats wrong with a punch in the face? And don't tell me if he punched him in the face he would have been in trouble too.

Also he wasn't tasered, there were no wires hanging off him from a taser gun maybe they Zapped him with a stun gun for a second. Pepper spray anyone?

These guys are just way too hyped up and way too paranoid to be cops they need to get a cool old-fashioned smart Sheriff kind of guy.

I would like to see the whole video. I think the reason he didnt want them searching him was because he had the gun. I would also like to hear from the persob who claimed he threatened them with a gun, usually its for a reason. Hes out there trying to sell cds not kill every passerby. But folks if a cop is sitting full body weight on your chest your gonna squiem and move, even if he was being still I doubt the cop would have gotten off his chest. They should have put him on his back.

At least this guy was resisting, unlike the video of the college cop shooting the man in the face for trying to drive away, or the cop shooting the black guy in the back as he ran

First off, if the police thought the info was credible they should have had there guns drawn on him. Tackling him to the ground puts everyone at risk, as in this case.

But cops these days seem to feel entitled to shooting people in the head if they try to drive off. But then again, they could drive off and end up killing somebody later, so it's a tough call in today's crazy world

Or that white female cop who shot that white dude who was lying in the snow in the back. Do i sense a pattern here? Its not a black or white thing, it's not a male or female thing, it's a cop thing.

Cops are like everyone, they fuck up. Doctors do it all the time.

Maybe if doctors would face murder charges when they fuck up, it wouldn't happen as often.

From this video and the other video, what I see is the police were telling him to get on the ground. He did not comply so they took him down. While trying to secure him on the ground, the suspect was reaching for the pistol in his pocket. When the police realize he is reaching in his pocket one of them calls out "gun" so they both draw their weapons in anticipation of escalation. Next you hear the suspects gun fire off a round or two, and immediately after you hear the police officers discharge their weapons into the suspect.

Watch both videos with sound up over and over. You'll get it.

Re: 2nd Video of Alton Sterling Fatal Shooting by Baton Rouge Police Department (graphic)
I have to agree it was handled incorrectly. Guns should have been drawn from the start also he should have been laid on hos stomach not back. I would have been combative to if someones full body weight was on my chest. So the cops brought this on themselves.
Im black so its not about defending the guy just because he was black. In fact I feel sorry for the cops because I dont think it was their intention on going out killing "negros", but they handled it wrong. I also feel bad for the guy that died, he was probably. Panicking because he knew if they found the gun he was probably going away for a long time. Just all around sad for both sides, not worth rioting over however I dont think those 2 should keep their jobs.

The gun never left his pocket nor was it fired as far as we know right now.

You can see the cop remove it from his pocket after they get off of him following the shooting.

Of course the cop has to secure the weapon. He can't leave it in his pocket. You don't know if the suspect is going to regain consciousness and try to shoot the cop. Also the gun does not need to be out and on display to discharge. The suspect while trying to pull it out of his pocket, and while struggling with the officers could easily accidentally or purposefully discharge it.

I believe by the sound of the first shot, it was from a different weapon from the other shots leaving me to believe it was return fire that killed him.

Just my opinion and only time will bring the truth out.

I have been fortunate to never have had a run in with the law while carrying a concealed firearm. But I have two fiends who have, both during traffic stops. Both immediately informed the officer they had a firearm on their person. Both were very white.

One officer jokingly stated the gun better stay in it's holster, and proceeded with the rest of the traffic stop normally.

The other ordered the driver out at gunpoint, and removed the firearm from him placing it in his cruiser while he ran the driver's CCW, reluctantly returning it at the conclusion of the traffic stop.

If either had not complied with the officer's commands, they probably wouldn't have lived to tell me what happened.

Moral of the story... if you have a firearm on your person, it's a really fucking good idea not to fuck with the cops.

Certainly not impossible, but I would have a hard time buying that the gun in his pocket went off without injuring his leg... and there did not appear to be any blood near his right pocket.

I guess we will have to wait for the forensic report, they are keeping a tight lid on the official story at the moment.
