Stallone has a created a masterful and endearing image of the aging "Rock". The movie is better than any of the others... it is in a class by itself...This transcends boxing and moves into other areas... it is a statement of the aging middle city and its people, and one man's battle to deal with inevitable change. One last battle for the "Rock"!

so boring and predictable i fell asleep... this movie could be a cure for insomnia.

Very good. the fight at the end isn't what it's
all about though, the idea of not being a has-been
and having a fulfilling life are the main themes.

For me the dynamics between father -son were particularly
moving.

I watched it the other day. I thought it was better than Rocky V. I enjoyed it very much.

All i can say is

Anything is better than Rocky V but this movie was a major disappointment. Rocky 1 - 4 will always stand on their own.

Can't wait to see the new Rambo

Rambo may someday protect a nursing home from mean nurses....bad food.....overcharges...and what tv shows they watch in the tv room.

When I was a kid there was a sketch on Saturday Night Live about Rocky VII. They were making fun of all the sequels. In it Rocky was in a wheelchair and still wanted to fight. I was 9 years old back then.

I never thought that sketch was prophesy. Funny how most of the truth you find nowadays comes from comedy. I guess they figure if you're laughing about what you hear you won't revolt.

Odd though.

I guess if you can buy into a 60 year old fighting a 30 something heavywight champ you can buy into anything.

5 years: SON OF ROCKY

GO SEE THE MOVIE! Its really good, like the first 2, not a big fighting movie but a very emotional one with a TON OF HEART!

The audience cheered ROCKY! ROCkY! and clapped the entire way through the fight!

ITS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!
