...A vest wouldn't have saved this guy, he was fixed by fire and then assaulted, cops aren't trained to deal with an assault like that, the moment his cover was compromised he was dead, the shooter had the initiative and fire superiority, it's a shame that guy had to die like that. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72314416 Ironically, that's exactly what those protesters were thinking in Dallas about those who were recently shot and killed by twitchy cops during traffic stops. As more and more cops shoot and kill people at traffic stops, likewise more of these shootings just like Dallas will present in retaliation against the cops. This spiral is going to keep feeding each other until the feds declare martial law, enact curfews and limit movement of people... which, of course, will tank the economy. Dallas is just the beginning of this. It's also going to have a lot of cops thinking twice about their choice of remaining in the law enforcement profession... not to mention those who are contemplating becoming a cop. Big difference there, these men were hunting for cops. They had ammo, guns, cammo and knew what they were doing a cop that just comes up on a car with a black dude with a gun is 100% different it is unexpected.
