Not as drastic...but...

I went fishing with my nephew when he was 10 (cedar lake - Minneapolis).

I set the hook on a MONSTER (tiger-muskie over 4 feet long)...and I handed my nephew the rod as I grabbed the net.

People fish all their lives and don't land a fish like that!

We let it go.

The story about feeding the geese was interesting too. The town I grew up in colorado had an ever increasing supply of canadian geese. What a mess they make in the city park.
