Dallas Shooting: Person who recorded officer being killed, arrested over video. Ties to New Black Panther Party

Have that horrible feeling that there will be more video being uploaded in real-time at the RNC:

Anyone know which video is the one she recorded? I can't seem to find it, it's been removed from her Facebook...

although it is suspicious that she was able to record it, I do not like the fact that they detained her and copied her phone records.
There is a very good chance that she was just in the right place at the right time, how many other people were also recording and uploading that night? Did they arrest everyone and inspect their phones?

If I were to ever attend an event like that and record it, I will live stream to a shill account using a burner phone. Nothing will be connected to me.

Was that the female in custody they referred to on the scanner?

The Quest for Peace and Justice

Every man lives in two realms, the internal and the external. The internal is that realm of spiritual ends expressed in art, literature, morals, and religion. The external is that complex of devices, techniques, mechanisms, and instrumentalities by means of which we live. Our problem today is that we have allowed the internal to become lost in the external.

We have allowed the means by which we live to outdistance the ends for which we live. So much of modern life can be summarized in that arresting dictum of the poet Thoreau: "Improved means to an unimproved end". This is the serious predicament, the deep and haunting problem confronting modern man. If we are to survive today, our moral and spiritual "lag" must be eliminated.

Enlarged material powers spell enlarged peril if there is not proportionate growth of the soul. When the "without" of man's nature subjugates the "within", dark storm clouds begin to form in the world.

Violence as a way of achieving racial justice is both impractical and immoral. I am not unmindful of the fact that violence often brings about momentary results. Nations have frequently won their independence in battle.

But in spite of temporary victories, violence never brings permanent peace. It solves no social problem: it merely creates new and more complicated ones. Violence is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all. It is immoral because it seeks to humiliate the opponent rather than win his understanding: it seeks to annihilate rather than convert.

Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love. It destroys community and makes brotherhood impossible. It leaves society in monologue rather than dialogue. Violence ends up defeating itself. It creates bitterness in the survivors and brutality in the destroyers.


In a real sense nonviolence seeks to redeem the spiritual and moral lag that I spoke of earlier as the chief dilemma of modern man. It seeks to secure moral ends through moral means. Nonviolence is a powerful and just weapon. Indeed, it is a weapon unique in history, which cuts without wounding and ennobles the man who wields it.

Using online maps, I can see she took the video from the Crowne Plaza. Seems odd to me she happened to be on the roof of a building (which is not common, odd) at the right time...

I a am sure a couple of decent lads like you would not associate with a hate group. Would not participate in protests that violate the rights of others. And if by chance you would capture video like this you would not publish it on Facebook out of respect for the decreased and their families. You would head right to the police and offer your evidence to them and cooperate in anyway possible. And if not, you would feel very fortunate that all you got was detained for four hours at a police station and asked a few questions while the police looked at your phone and car. Not because you enjoyed the black experience but because unlike 99%'of blacks who have encounters with the Dallas police, you lived to tell about it.

I'm not positive of this, but in that video it looks like whoever was shooting that video was on the upper level of a parking garage.

Was it the parking garage that the snipers were supposedly shooting from? That I don't know. But it would explain why they wanted that phone. I'm betting there was far more footage on it than the officer shooting.

Looking at the Crowne Plaza, it doesn't appear there is parking garage (I don't know for sure). It looks like they are on a roof top.
