A man who was assassinated has been embalmed and propped up with a cigarette in his hand in a weird funeral arrangement.

Fernando de Jesus Diaz Beato even has his eyes open.

He was shot 15 times and as it stands, no-one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

The funeral home sat him in a chair, legs crossed, wearing his signature hat and glasses.

One of his sisters said: "Everybody is really surprised because seeing him like that is like seeing him as if he were alive."
