In the Sephir Yetizerah. It is said that the birth of Adam took place on Rosh Hashanah, the New year in the year . September , 3761. it is said he was the first true human being with a soul that made him into a spiritual being.


Before Adam it is siad that 974 generations lived, or 25,000 years ago. Mankind did live in a physical and mental form(made from the dust. Genesis 2:7) but lacked a soul. It was this soul of Mosiach however that hovered about the waters..


And the spirit of G-d hovered [above the waters]." Our Sages tell us that this is actually referring to the soul of Moshiach. The Hebrew words in the verse "v'ruach Elokim m'rachefet" have the same numerical value as the words "This is the spirit of Melech HaMoshiach" - zeh haya rucho shel Melech HaMashiach.

Adam Kadmon (Primordial Man) or Aveer Qadmon is the Azoth or Primitive Air from the first matter.

Adam had progressed to the spiritual state where "Eve" is produced; Eve is the soul and Adam is the mind. Adam or the mind had achieved enough spiritual intelligence which alerted and forced the hand of elohim to get involved. But notice, not only Elohim but YHWH gets involved: we are told "Lord God," and not just "God" gets involved. Keep this mind...

So we have both YHWH (Lord) and ELOHIM (God) moving together to gain access to Adam. YHWH is one deity and Elohim is many deities; that is one vs many or monotheism vs polytheism. A war took place (I will cover that in more details at a later post, just stay with me for now).

A war takes place over Adam or over the mind because a soul was forming in it (the rib). Recall, Adam initiated the growth of the soul by increasing his spiritual intelligence (bestowing names). Also as a sidebar, Christ was pierced in his side, a retelling of the story of Adam's rib creation event.

Both Lord and God get hold of one of his ribs and both cast the spell of sleep; that is one casts the sleep from the material while the other casts the sleep from spiritual.


Now the soul is born, Eve. She is tempted by both Lord and God, the temptation of the material (garden of Eden and its delights) and temptation of the spiritual (Serpent).
