what if the guys controlling the simulation like to play with time travel inside the simulation

but what they don't know is that they are also living a simulation, it's a simulation inside the simulation

and the guys in the level "above" theirs also like to play with time travel in their simulation

will it be too confuse for the public to understand?

In the simulation, people time traveled back in history, caused robots to be invented which then turned into SkyNet, eventually taking over the planet and turning all the humans into batteries to power the machines by.

The "players" would have to have their souls "walk-in" to the simulation shells in order to start playing.

A guy discovers that magic works.

The magic spells take him through alternate dimensions and the afterlife.

He discovers that the afterlife is actually a far future where technology is so advanced that it's indistinguishable from magic. And that every person who ever died has been resurrected in this technomagical future.

There he also learns that our entire universe is some kind of simulation created by superbeings. Which is why magic and time travel are possible.

Magic is just accessing the computer code. And you can time travel the same way that you can go forward and backward in a video game.

then a explosion happens in Reality B and destroys the servers where reality C was being simulated (and obviously reality D as well)

a guy in reality B who used to "dive" in reality C, only to "dive" in reality D and meet a NPC girl in reality D, and was in love with that NPC girl in reality D, goes crazy because he didn't have a backup, and reality C and reality D are gone forever, and he will never find the girl again

then a girl in reality A who likes to watch this guy in reality B decides to dive in reality B and convince the desperate guy that time travel is possible, and they both can time travel do before the explosion... she manipulates reality B to make that "time travel" possible (actually, a new simulation starting from a previous "Restore point") and takes the guy to before the explosion, so they both can enter reality C, and then enter reality D, where they engage in a threesome with the girl in reality D, then the movie becomes softcore porn

one more idea... guys in Reality B can NOT directly know what is going on in reality D, due to some kind of encryption used by the guys in reality C

in order to find out what is really going on in reality D, the guys from reality B need to "dive" in reality C and have "physical" access to the computers in reality C where reality D is being simulated

the movie needs to be complex, but it also needs to have drama, love, sex, and comedy

we can have different kinds of time travel in different layers

in some layers, your body can physically travel back to the past

in other layers, only your mind travels back to the past, and takes control of your own body in some point of your previous life

in some simulation layers, we can add aliens from other planets to the mess

in other simulation layers, we can add "angels", "demons", and beings from "other dimensions"

and in other simulation layers, we can create "parallel realities" based on Hugh Everett's Many Worlds Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics, so a character in that simulation layer can eventually "swap realities" and end up in a parallel version of himself, based on decisions he mad years ago

decisions he *made* years ago

we should not mix "outer space aliens", "parallel version of himself" and "angels vs demons" in the same simulation layer

each of those ideas will come from the creative minds in one layer, applied to the layer "bellow" it

You should add God coming to the rescue at the end.

the kind of "hardware" used in each simulaiton layer can also be greatly varied

in Reality C they may use binary electronic computers to simulate Reality D, while Reality C is simulated in Reality B by "trinary" computers that use photonics
