Thank you. :matterhorn yer welcome, not sure if i shared this with ye but i had a kinda similar but bit different experience some years ago where i was taken to this huge powerful being, it was silhouetted and with its back to me, kinda scary. i stood there observing it, waiting for something to happen but nothing did, i thought it was someone nasty, I was told he would return :) some months later he did return and he stood there again, i was waiting to be squished, i stood there waiting for the inevitable, thinking what to do, i went over to him and gave him a big hug and he vanished and i realised it was just me there all along, it also altered my path Hey Mystic, Quoting: paler I was meditating and felt myself sorta disconnecting from the body a few times. Then i envisioned myself moving out of my body down the stairs and out on the street. I went up the street and then shot straight up and got drawn into a very vivid bright light. As i got to the light I entered into this landscape that was in a purple mist, I was flying over it and it felt very primordial. kinda cool. Then a strong purple plasma kinda effect came over my view and i was facing a huge being. I could only see a small part of it and it was sorta sillouetted but it felt very powerful and i didnt get too close. Again plasma mist took over my view and i was transported to the landscape again, This went on for a bit being taken from the landscape to the being and then i came out of it. I'm curious of your take on this. I would have discounted it as dreaming but it was pretty vivid and not like anything ive dreamed/seen before. Is this astral travelling? I recall I had a different experience with the goo as there was nothing on it but there was that summerian looking guy with the pinecone and I found the mountain(topically looked like goo from above) after on a map located in the usa. So how does one rise above the gu/nas? The Lord says: He who hates not light, activity, and delusion when they are present, nor longs for them when they are absent. He who, sitting like one unconcerned, is unmoved by the gu/nas, who remains firm and never wavers, knowing that the gu/nas alone are active; He who dwells in the Self and regards alike pleasure and pain, who looks on a clod, a stone, and a piece of gold as of equal worth, who remains the same amidst agreeable and disagreeable things, who is a man of wisdom, and who sees no difference between praise and blame; He who is the same in honour and dishonour, the same to friend and foe, and who has renounced all undertakings-such a man is said to have risen above the gu/nas. And how does one pass beyond the 3 gu/nas? He who worships Me with the yoga of undeviating love rises above the gu/nas and becomes fit to be one with Brah/man(mon/ad?). (Me-meaning Lord who dwells in the hearts of all as their inmost Self. Love-meaning the knowledge based on the Lord. To be one with Brah/man-meaning he is ready for liberation.) Why? For I am the Abode of Brah/man, the Im/mortal and the Im/mutable, and of the Eternal Dhar/ma, and of Ab/solute Bliss. (I-being the inmost Self, in whom Brah/man, the Supreme Self abides.
