Very interesting topic, the other day I was having a discussion with someone on how people are different in the ways they approach change. Some seem to cannonball into an environment and immediately attack what they don't like about it and the friction result can be very negative-- even if the long term result is better for the overall group. Then you have others who seem to immerse themselves into a quieter role of observation first prior to enacting changes which results in less friction but similar results...the second scenario or "change strategy" resulted in higher levels of productivity in groups afterward as the "happy feels" of the initial environment weren't destroyed or damaged during the transition. I was initially looking at the ways that galaxies merge, planets crashing and all that-- two different spirals co-mingling, centuries later it will be one big happy galaxy.
