I think it is very likely. I have never bought into the theory of gradual evolution of Man whatsoever. Stair-step evolution is what they call it.

60K is generous money to be paid to be preggo for 9 months while having all your care paid for as well. Appealing to American women, I'm sure. And it's legal. For now.

Seems to me the Chinese are doing pretty well being they are flush with so much cash, they are buying up West Coast real estate for top dollar and renting the wombs of American females for up to 100K a pregnancy.

An American woman would be hard pressed to earn 60K for 9 months of 'work' in this country. Let alone..just getting paid to be pregnant.

I gained a healthy distrust of Chinese intentions for America, about 33 years ago while crossing the street to get the mail with my father. And from what I am seeing, I was right on the money. No pun intended.

Not sure what you mean. A very large percentage of the world, doesn't even have in home toilets..let alone electricity.

So then, those of means will have robot teachers? I doubt that very much. There is no substitute for a great teacher and if public school goes the way of the robot, the private schools surely will not.

Today, teachers need better pay. Smaller classes. More access to effective school psychologists. More support. Better funding. More attentive parents. They need flexibility in curriculum. They need to feel valued.

Appreciated. Otherwise what's the point?

Lol. I didn't notice that. I had a friend in high school whom both his parents were deaf and one time were were sitting in a vehicle in their driveway, while he was signing with them. We were all whispering..like teens do around adults..when I said a bit louder..why are we whispering?

That vid fills me with hope being you can see that teacher is genuinely helping those people to improve their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Heartwarming.

Re: Duat do what
A friend and I walk into this bar that I used to frequent in the late 90's...

As soon as I walked in the 6 or 7 people drinking at the bar turned to look to see who was walking in; that's when I noticed each one of them had these little gargoyle-like demons attached to their backs and they were looking at us too!

I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to look at my friend to see if he was seeing what I was seeing and he was white as a ghost; I asked "Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" He shook his head as if to agree.

We immediately turned around and went back out of the bar and I asked him what he'd seen and he said he saw demons attached to their backs and they were grinning at us when we walked in! I said that's EXACTLY what I saw too!

We never went to that bar again, in fact, I've only been to a bar 4X since then.

For the record, I wasn't religious back then; my friend was but I wasn't. I can't explain what or how I saw what I did. I'd been in that bar many many times before and never saw anything like that.
 Quoting: AstroBuzz

Stranger still..gargoyles and jinn are known to attach to the back.

Great thread.

This posts causes me to wonder if there really ARE alcohol(spirits) demons. A lot of stories about bars.

I don't want to super spook anyone but you can feel them land on your back. First time I experienced it I thought it was a gargoyle but was told years later, it was a jinn. You do not want a jinn on your back.

Could be where the phrase, hard to dance with the devil on your back, comes from.
 Quoting: Seer777

The Hellish reason we call it Alcohol

The origin of the word alcohol is grippingly interesting and insightful; from old Arabic, the word Al gul literally means “The Ghoul”, genie, spirit or demon. Al gul is the origin of the English word “ghoul” which means a demon believed to rob graves and devour corpses.

Algol, also derived from Al gul is the name of “The Demon Star” in the constellation Perseus. In mythology, Perseus is known for slaying the dragon/demon by cutting off its head. In astronomy, the star Algol represents the head of the Gorgon, therefore, Algol is synonymous with losing your head, being out of your head, being decapitated or experiencing a death, great difficulty, pain, suffering, trauma, drama etc…

It is also compelling to note the similarities between “Gin” and “Jinn”, G.I.N. – Gin supposedly gets its name from Geneva, Switzerland, but no one seems to be able to figure out why… or possibly it was the juniper berries that long ago were added to gin for flavour and to improve taste.

“Jinn” in Arabian and Muslim mythology, means Demon, Spirit, Angel or Genie, an intelligent spirit but lower ranking than the Devas or Angels, able to appear in human and animal forms and to possess humans. Jinn can also mean insane or to hide, possess or conceal and even “beings that are concealed from the senses“.

What did they look like? If they dropped, did they not have wings? When I felt it, it felt like it would land gently on my back.

I was told it was for protection but if you recall at the time I was extremely disturbed by the phenomena and you told me it was a jinn. My back would vibrate very strongly as soon as it touched me, then the rest of my body. Those were low times.

When you saw them dropping, did they land on everyone or did it seem they picked certain people? Did anyone seem to notice?

Are they like the fabled archon? Feeding on human intoxication and misery? Tricksters. Shape shifters.

The Muslims believe we are all born with a personal jinn. Similar to Christian belief of the 'guardian angel' but works more like devil and the angel on the shoulder, instead of purely being protective.

If we are all dreaming 'reality', perhaps it's the genies manifesting it in real time.

Maybe when people die, their genies get confused and group together in places. Then drop on people to attach again.

late afternoon weekday and there was just one guy sitting in my rail car and I was standing

this thing dropped through the roof of our rail car onto the guy sitting and climbed on his lap on his shoulder on his head onto his chest
I watched fascinated that he wasn't noticing
my senses reached out to other railcars and i experienced it was occurring to others
thump
one dropped straight down an inch from my face onto my chest
clinging
no thought to communicate with it I instinctively removed it and the train started moving
within around 30 seconds the train pulled into the station and I got off and went up to the surface into sunshine

the was around 30 years ago
today I would be more relaxed about myself and not so
gotta get it off

Exorcism in Islam

Belief in Jinns, and other supernatural beings, is widespread in the Islamic world. Jinn is an Arabic collective noun deriving from the Semitic root jnn , whose primary meaning is "to hide".

Some authors interpret the word to mean, literally, "beings that are concealed from the senses". Such creatures are believed to inhabit desolate, dingy, dark places where they are feared. Jinn exist invisibly amongst humans, only detectable with the sixth sense. The jinn are subtile creatures created from smokeless fire (fire and air) thought to be able to possess animate and inanimate objects. Unlike demons, they are not necessarily evil, but own a capacity of free-will

A possession by a Jinn can happen for various reasons. Ibn Taymiyyah explained a Jinn could sometimes haunt an individual, because the person could (even unintentionally) harm the jinn; urinating or throwing hot water on it, or even killing a related jinn without even realizing it. In this case the jinn will try to take revenge on the person.

Another cause for jinn possession is when a jinn falls in love with a human and thereupon the jinn possesses the human. Some women have told of their experiences with jinn possession; where the jinn tried to have sexual interaction from inside their bodies.
