VR? Seems to me the Chinese are doing pretty well being they are flush with so much cash, they are buying up West Coast real estate for top dollar and renting the wombs of American females for up to 100K a pregnancy. An American woman would be hard pressed to earn 60K for 9 months of 'work' in this country. Let alone..just getting paid to be pregnant. Quoting: AstroBuzz As soon as I walked in the 6 or 7 people drinking at the bar turned to look to see who was walking in; that's when I noticed each one of them had these little gargoyle-like demons attached to their backs and they were looking at us too! I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to look at my friend to see if he was seeing what I was seeing and he was white as a ghost; I asked "Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" He shook his head as if to agree. We immediately turned around and went back out of the bar and I asked him what he'd seen and he said he saw demons attached to their backs and they were grinning at us when we walked in! I said that's EXACTLY what I saw too! We never went to that bar again, in fact, I've only been to a bar 4X since then. For the record, I wasn't religious back then; my friend was but I wasn't. I can't explain what or how I saw what I did. I'd been in that bar many many times before and never saw anything like that. Stranger still..gargoyles and jinn are known to attach to the back. Great thread. This posts causes me to wonder if there really ARE alcohol(spirits) demons. A lot of stories about bars. I don't want to super spook anyone but you can feel them land on your back. First time I experienced it I thought it was a gargoyle but was told years later, it was a jinn. You do not want a jinn on your back. Could be where the phrase, hard to dance with the devil on your back, comes from. The Hellish reason we call it Alcohol The origin of the word alcohol is grippingly interesting and insightful; from old Arabic, the word Al gul literally means “The Ghoul”, genie, spirit or demon. Al gul is the origin of the English word “ghoul” which means a demon believed to rob graves and devour corpses. Algol, also derived from Al gul is the name of “The Demon Star” in the constellation Perseus. In mythology, Perseus is known for slaying the dragon/demon by cutting off its head. In astronomy, the star Algol represents the head of the Gorgon, therefore, Algol is synonymous with losing your head, being out of your head, being decapitated or experiencing a death, great difficulty, pain, suffering, trauma, drama etc… It is also compelling to note the similarities between “Gin” and “Jinn”, G.I.N. – Gin supposedly gets its name from Geneva, Switzerland, but no one seems to be able to figure out why… or possibly it was the juniper berries that long ago were added to gin for flavour and to improve taste. “Jinn” in Arabian and Muslim mythology, means Demon, Spirit, Angel or Genie, an intelligent spirit but lower ranking than the Devas or Angels, able to appear in human and animal forms and to possess humans. Jinn can also mean insane or to hide, possess or conceal and even “beings that are concealed from the senses“.
