Think of a telomere like the plastic cap on the end of your shoelace. Every time your cell divides, it loses a telomere. One the cap is gone, the lace frays.

From my perspective aging looks like slow Hell. No thanks.

Makes sense why stress causes aging.

Stress=cell death=more divisions=loss of telomere sooner=look and feel older than you are.
