Human–machine system is a system in which the functions of a human operator (or a group of operators) and a machine are integrated. This term can also be used to emphasize the view of such a system as a single entity that interacts with external environment.

A manual system consists of hand tools and other aids which are coupled by a human operator who controls the operation. Operators of such systems use their own physical energy as the power source[citation needed]. The system could range from a person with a hammer to a person with a super-strength giving exoskeleton[citation needed].

The Bacabs "were four brothers whom God placed, when he created the world, at the four points of it, holding up the sky so that it should not fall. [...] They escaped when the world was destroyed by the deluge." [1] Their names were Hobnil, Cantzicnal, Saccimi, and Hosanek.

The Bacabs were invoked in connection with rain and agriculture, since they were intimately associated with the four Chaacs, or rain deities, and the Pauahtuns, or wind deities, all located in the four directions. The Maya of Chan Kom referred to the four skybearers as the four Chacs (Redfield and Villa Rojas).

Since they were Year Bearer patrons, and also because of their meteorological qualities, the Bacabs were important in divination ceremonies; they were approached with questions about crops, weather, or the health of bees (Landa).

In addition, the "Four Gods, Four Bacabs" were often invoked in curing rituals that had the four-cornered world and its beaches for a theatre (which is the basic reason why the most important early-colonial collection of Yucatec curing texts, the Ritual of the Bacabs, has been named after them).

In earlier representations (which are not restricted to the Yucatán), the Bacabs who carry the sky are represented by old men carrying the sky-dragon.

Fourfold, the Bacabs are repeatedly shown carrying the slab of a throne or the roof of a building.

A Bacab inhabiting a turtle (perhaps representing the earth) is part of the scenes with the resurrection of the Maya maize god.

Until recently, there were just four known Yangtze giant softshell turtles in the world. On April 13, the only known female among them died in China’s Suzhou Shangfangshan Forest Zoo following an attempt to artificially inseminate her, according to local media. She was more than 90 years old.

Re: Duat do what
[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

Nuclear magnetic resonance quantum computing (NMRQC)[1] is one of the several proposed approaches for constructing a quantum computer, that uses the spin states of nuclei within molecules as qubits. The quantum states are probed through the nuclear magnetic resonances, allowing the system to be implemented as a variation of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. NMR differs from other implementations of quantum computers in that it uses an ensemble of systems, in this case molecules, rather than a single pure state.

Initially the approach was to use the spin properties of atoms of particular molecules in a liquid sample as qubits - this is known as liquid state NMR (LSNMR). This approach has since been superseded by solid state NMR (SSNMR) as a means of quantum computation.

Even stars like the sun age with supposed internal heat supporting against gravity saying the source is nuclear.

Re: Duat do what

So what's the answer? H'ronmeer save me.
This again? I need guidance.
Why won't you help me? Why should I? I'm not the one who failed at the one task I have.
Or was it another Green Martian who erased the mind of the DEO colonel, who reached into Manchester Black's brain to inflict pain upon him, and opened a channel for him to access your mind so he could defile my grave site and steal the Staff of K'hollar, which he could've used to destroy planet Earth? Everything I did, I did in the name of peace.
- You killed him.
- He was a killer.
Then so are you.
Well, what would you have me do? Sit around and pray all day while the world around me burns like you did on Mars? At least I didn't run.
I have been trying to make up for that.
By protecting this planet.
Trying and failing.
If I'm such a failure, why did you trust me with the Symbols? Because you said you could handle it.
You insisted I shouldn't have! I tried to be you, Father, but I can't! And you should never have asked me.
I'm not a man of peace! And if that means I have to give up the Symbols, and Martian religion has to die, then so be it.
At least I will know who I am! And who are you? I'm the Martian Manhunter! [MYR'NN] Yes.
You are.

You tricked me into getting angry.
You were angry already.
Just pushing it down.
And you were right to be angry with me, J'onn, I wasn't clear.
I said I wished for you to promote peace, but I never intended for you to become me.
I meant only that you should help the world in whatever state is true to you.
When I found you again, I was so proud of the Martian you had become.
I never meant to make you feel you had to change, J'onn.
I'm sorry.
I failed to impart my unconditional love for you.
I'm so sorry I couldn't be the keeper of the Sacred Symbols, Father.
Hmm.
You were able to keep the Symbols alive a little longer.
That brought comfort to an old Martian.
The important thing is, you know who you are.
[CLICKS TONGUE] Maybe there's another way.
H'ronmeer gave us the Symbols in the heart of the desert of T'ozz.
I could return them there.
A hard journey.
And if you succeed, they will lie dormant until someone worthy comes to claim them.
Maybe somebody will.
[MYR'NN] Hmm.
Thank you, Father, for all your help.
You know, J'onn, I'm just an extension of your memory of me.
Any answers you found, they came from inside you.
Yeah, I know.
But it was still really good to see you.
It was good to see you, too Martian Manhunter.

More recent work, particularly by Caves and others, shows that all experiments in liquid state bulk ensemble NMR quantum computing to date do not possess quantum entanglement, thought to be required for quantum computation. Hence NMR quantum computing experiments are likely to have been only classical simulations of a quantum computer.
