The Case Against Civilization

Did our hunter-gatherer ancestors have it better?

For much of human history, though, technology had nothing to do with science. Many of our most significant inventions are pure tools, with no scientific method behind them.

Some of the most important things we use every day were invented long before the adoption of the scientific method.

Soap prevented more deaths than penicillin. That’s technology, not science.

“To focus on a persons sickness or struggle and be able to heal them is an expectation. A true healer doesn’t do that. A true healer has to find out if a persons ready for the healing, and second have to find a way to do it to help the person with their own healing because what it is, when you are out of balance, you’re supposed to be learning something. There’s a lesson to bring you back into balance and if we take that lesson away from you by healing you, then you have to relearn it and what it is, why it is, that this sickness or whatever it is has come to you. And help you to have the tools to work with to overcome that sickness to be able to make the changes to heal and carry on.

We have to learn to use those gifts in healing, not for hurting. “-spotted eagle.

The native way of thinking is everything is spirit. Meaning everything is energy. Emotional energy grabs hold with response inside of oneself. The more emotional reaction the larger that spirit/energy gets. The growth causes physical response reactions and that energy has to flow a certain way kind of like facing the wind. Knowing the flow of energy one can instantly change the flow by knowing which way it cannot sustain that flow as the emotional energy cannot hold on. The difference between clinched and free flow. That is the natural way. -spotted eagle info.

Re: Duat do what
The defendant's computer program contains code which is substantially similar to ours, a violation of our intellectual property rights No.
Actually, the code is totally different.
They are more than substantially similar.
- No, no, they're not.
- Ms.
Chang, control your client.
Of course, Your Honour.
I apologize.
Any similarity simply represents my client's unique coding style.
It doesn't rise to the level of copying.
The defendant's program is parasitic.

Yeah? Ugh! The old case files from Noah's old lawyer.
- He had a lawyer before us? - Apparently.
He said they just sent the injunction.
They have been after him for years.
It's cease and desist letters, threats of old suits, which were all ignored.
He really pissed off the wrong people.
- It's a tech company.
- Novatech is just a subsidiary.
Those lawyers today, they were from Lovand.
- The defense contractor? - Yes, but it's more than that.
It is weapons systems.
It's private armies.
These people overthrow governments.
- What do they want with Noah? - Who cares? Let's just dump all of this on the sidewalk and pretend we never got this case.
We can't do that, we're his lawyers.
Once we say we're in, we're in.

I-I'm telling you, privacy - isn't a joke.
- I didn't say it was.
No, you didn't have to.
You don't value it because it's never been threatened, which is why I created the app in the first place.
What if people could see your Internet searches? - Pardon? - That's where my app comes in.
It's a data scrambler.
I don't know what that means.
Speak non-tech.
[IRRITATED SIGH] OK.
When a company tries to mine your data, my app takes your data and sticks it in a blender.
OK.
Purées it.
Exactly.
No one is identifiable.
And the data they try and take is useless.
OK, but what's the urgency? So the app goes down for a few months, what's the harm? A few months of an algorithm churning endlessly, digging into every secret part of your life?! Yeah, "what's the harm?" Oh, my God! You think that if you don't do anything wrong, then who cares what the tech companies or government know about you? Like you're always honest? - You always do the right thing? - I try to.
I mean, what if people knew that you searched "Am I having a nervous breakdown?" Or that quiz you took, "Signs you're a sociopath," and - oh, God - you scored a "maybe"? Are you threatening me? What? No, I No, I'm just I'm hacking you.
Took less than a minute.
Imagine what they could do if my app came down.
- I thought you believed in privacy.
- I do.
I was proving a point.
OK.
We are done for today.
What about, "Is my father a sexual predator?" - You don't want people - That is none of your business! Exactly.
OK, exactly.
None of that is any of my business.
I shouldn't know that, but I do because you searched it.
You need to leave right now.
- No, I think you're - Please, leave.
[PHONE CHIME] You gotta take a break sometimes.

Re: Duat do what
No, there's three floors of concrete, they can't track us down here.
I just came down here to apologize.
I am so sorry.
Look, this is why I didn't take down my app.
The code is a data-gathering algorithm capable of self-learning.
It tracks subtle changes to facial movements to detect and pinpoint enemy combatants.
It detects radicalization.
It was used by the military.
But it's been recalibrated to detect anything - political opinions, sexual orientation, gender identity.
Lovand has weaponized it and put it into a video game.
But that's just the R&D portion.
Once the tech is perfected, it'll be everywhere.
Facial recognition software capable of knowing your darkest secrets, using anything that has a computer chip: your laptop, your phone, your coffee maker.
It'll be inescapable.
There are other legal avenues you can take if you want to try and stop them.
No.
This isn't just about privacy! My life is in danger.
Then, you should go to the police.
You have no idea who these people are! The only reason I am alive right now is because they have no idea how to take down my app.
If they did, I'd be dead.
I went home today, and someone had been there.
Inside my house.
They want me to know that they can get to me.
They'll kill anyone who learns about their secret.
Me and now you.
Joanna, please, I need your help.
You want to have a proper meeting? You call me in my office tomorrow.

In 1997, Mark Lehner and stonemason Roger Hopkins conducted a three-week pyramid-building experiment for a NOVA television episode. They built a pyramid 6 metres (20 ft) high by 9 metres (30 ft) wide, consisting of a total of 162 cubic metres (5,700 cu ft), or about 405 tons. It was made out of 186 stones weighing an average of 2.2 tons each. Twelve quarrymen carved 186 stones in 22 days, and the structure was erected using 44 men.

They used levers to lift the capstone to a height of 20 feet (6.1 m). Four or five men were able to use levers on stones less than one ton to flip them over and transport them by rolling, but larger stones had to be towed. Lehner and Hopkins found that by putting the stones on wooden sledges and sliding the sledges on wooden tracks, they were able to tow a two-ton stone with 12 to 20 men.

Wiki doesn’t say the difficulties that emerged testing levering. It does require at least two deep notches in each side of the block which are not found on pyramid core stones. But inverted notches are found on many megalithic stones that no one knows why. Field effect resonance info.

Think about this: Old tech was essentially analog with header packet checksums to correlate data integrity (a wave(fourier transform)).

New tech is digital(numerically scalable); the ability to collapse the middle into a logarithmic transformation to curtail redundancies.

It frees memory by allowing for discernable patterns rather than being trapped in faithfully cataloguing that which always follows a logical route (even in chaos).

It allows for limitless transitions taking into account the context of interactions ( reflections and deflections).

The very ancient ancestor way of freeing memory was called the breath of the great spirit that binds us all. Aka gravity.
Consciously moving the breath vertically, feet through head and back down, instead of horizontally was a very old practice still known by Inca remnants.

Everything starts here first(pointing to self). your creator gave you two arms, two legs, a head, a face, and hair to make you handsome, and a brain to use when you are talking.
