Zionism and Judaism are two different things. Most Zionists are atheists and are not followers of the Law of Moses. Zionism is a secular ideology, the secularization of Jewish messianism. Zionists do not and cannot claim that the Jews have a right to the Promised Land, since that would require belief in a Promisor and the founders of Zionism were atheists and marxists.
