2) Repent, recognizing you cannot live life your way, but you need to follow Jesus His way.

I'm sorry I just... I can't accept that. Not yet anyways. Not until something GOOD and HONEST actually comes out of this whole thing. It seems like evil is truly Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. IF and that is still a BIG IF, I believed in a loving creator or whatever, good versus evil kind of stuff, then I would have to say that Hillary and Obama are "Satan's" tools. Nothing else can explain how anyone could hate their own country and citizens so much!

And BTW, I was raised a Christian but never had ANY connection to GOD. Where was he all those years?

Well, here's a silly story - have no one else to tell, so here goes: I was in line at the food bank the other day (yeah yeah, I'm a disabled widow, so give me a break judgmental types). An even more elderly woman came up, obviously homeless. I swear, a voice in my head told me to go give her $10. I didn't, thought it would be awkward, and I'm not too flush myself. I was called inside, and as soon as I sat down, a well dressed man rushed in, handed the intake worker a $10 bill and said it was a donation, and walked out. Weird coincidence? Or a test?

I read through your post twice and cannot figure out what the point is or even what happened other than you yelled up to God. I don't understand where Jesus came into the picture either. Did you delete part of your original post perhaps?

He want you to workout your own salvation through him. The world will be the world. It is that way becouse of free will. The only thin that you can do right now is be delivered through him right now. The Holy Spirit will change your outlook on things in time. Holy Spirit brings peace and restoration. The world has a savior, most of them still reject him. That is the reason it is the way it is. As you work your own salvation with the Holy Spirit you will be a walking testimony. First you have to love yourself, he shows us how to do that. Hell brings up our desperation to be saved. The only thing we can do for ourselves is surrender to Jesus. Let go and let God.

God loves us so much He gave us free will. He has always been there. Just talk to Him. Continue the conversation with Him. God is love.

You could call it a prayer, but seen more generally you just performed a magic ritual, nothing more, nothing less. And rituals get powered by the emotion you put into them. And what's great about it is that you're being invited by the Lord to be a powerful force for good, that will destroy all the evil in the World when the Lord comes for the children and all those who love Him. I too, was furious and extremely disappointed when Hillary got off. I was screaming to myself in the car when driving. I felt like evil has taken completely over and felt hopeless for our nation. Then the Lord laid in my heart that He's in control and certain things must happen and to never lose hope in the triumph of what is good and just. This is His gig so I leave it in the Dear Lord's hands. Peace came back upon me in my heart. One thing I can tell you with certainty, OP, is HE has never left you and has always been by your side this whole time. You left Him but He hasn't left you. Draw close to Him and you will see. You have to resolve to follow the inner promptings that you receive. God works through people and the woman probably needed the $10 badly. You need to be available when needed. And yes, I'm talking to myself as well.

Perhaps a test. Why didn't you give the homeless, elderly woman $10? You did have it to give, didn't you? You may have thought you needed it more than her, but are you homeless? You're willingness to obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit may very well have been tested.

You can't serve God and money both. You have to choose one or the other. Hopefully, other opportunities will come and you'll make the right decision next time.

You never have to fear giving or borrowing money to others less fortunate than yourself, since God says that He Himself will repay you, and that repayment could be far, far more than what you originally parted with.

Proverbs 19:17 ESV Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

Proverbs 28:27 ESV Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.

In the Winter of 2008, I was asleep in my bed one night. My husband was working 2nd shift and I had heard him get home.

Something woke me and said, "There is a man here to see you." I sat up and there was a very tall man in the dooryway of my room. I freaked. I thought, "How did he get in here past my husband?" I tried to run past him to escape and I ended up up at the ceiling by the door.

As I went past Him, I heard Him say, "I don't need his permission to come in here."

I stopped and turned around. There is only one man who would say a thing like that. I was pulled back down to the bed where my body was still lying there. I was in the spirit.

It was Lord Jesus.

He's tall. 6 foot tall at least and He is broad of chest. He was wearing robes and an overcoat robe that was double-breasted. It had embroidery down both sides of the front of His coat.

He got behind me and looked down and He got an upset look on His face. I don't know what He saw. He back away to the end of my bed again and He said, "I will never leave you." Then, I was falling back into my body and He took off up through the ceiling.

I have always believed in Lord Jesus and Heavenly Father and Lord Holy Spirit. He has always been My Lord and My God.

I didn't know what was coming or what upset The Lord. He's very Good, Op. He's very kind.

I'm sorry that you got to the Age of Not Believing. I never did because I refused to go there. But, you don't have to stay there. OP-there is a saying "the wheels of the gods grind exceeding slow,but grind they DO" We,true humanity, are going thru a great reawakening and birthing. As with all births-it is painful,messy and has stops and starts,contractions are no fun-ask any woman.

You crying out to whatever force is at work in the universe was an act of faith. Faith, because in your frustration you called out to something bigger than you that deep down you know exists despite your intellectual understanding.

The good news for you is that God is real.

That is why, you felt a sense of peace that was beyond understanding or explaining. In your frustration, you called out to the Creator, and he assured you by a touch of his presence that he exists and He gave you an strange peace in your spirit to assure you that He is in control.

If this comes as a surprise to you, you are in good company. Many of us who now claim faith, were once atheists or agnostics and some were even involved in the occult or other forms of paganism or spiritism.

More good news... God is good and he is merciful.

The one who created you desires to have a relationship with you. He is not like the stereotypes you have regarding him. He is not ignorant of the state of affairs of mankind and He has gone to great lengths to deal with the corruption, evil, selfishness, wickedness, perversion and depravity that has brought you to the point of frustration that made you call out to Him in the first place.

As human beings who were deceived by evil in the beginning, God has condemned evil in the world and has appointed a time of judgement for the one who deceived us and for all those who participate in evil. If it was not for His mercy and love for his creation, there would be no hope for any of us who have fallen into temptation and defiled ourselves by sin. So God in His mercy sent His Son and Spirit into the world as Witnesses to lead us to the truth. First Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) came by the Spirit thru a Virgin as God's presence to us in the Flesh. Because our minds could not comprehend an invisible God, God sent His Son in human form, as one of us, to show us His nature and character... and ultimately His Love for us by dying for us on the cross as an atonement for our sins. In this way God used a universal injustice against his own Son who had committed no sin to ultimately serve as a substitute sacrifice that allows anyone who puts their faith in God through Jesus to be free from their past sins and condemnation.

I know there is so much baggage and dis-information regarding Jesus, Christianity and Faith... but the message is truly simple: God is with you, He loves you, He knows how terrible evil is and Has died in your place to overcome it. He died to make us Free.
