if the entity is attached to a person, it will take a lot more than leaving the light on all the time. intentional bathing (in an actual bath) with salts and oils is one step. add diatomaceous earth to smoothies, tea, juice or water... this cleans out internal parasites which are an obvious symbol for etheric and energetic parasites. i feel much clearer from imbibing it, usually in smoothies. ask/pray to gain clarity on why the entity is attached or lingering, whether it is to do with a person, place or thing. do not engage the entity itself, other than for banishing.

from my experience sage helps, as well as stating that this is your space and they are not welcome while smudging with sage in every room of your home. palo santo can be used for the same purpose. keeping the doors open and letting natural light in during the day is important. i agree with OP about keeping the lights on, but would worry about the physiological effects with regard to it fucking with your sleep cycle/circadian rhythms. there's a reason why we are scared of the dark, and it's not just b/c our ancestors were wary of animal/human predators and perpetrators.

im not suggesting to keep lights on all the time but it definitely helps when theres a problem

remember not all 4th dimensional entities are the same
