I have an account with paypal for a long time. I made purchases but never more than $50/00. I had problems with sellers. Long time ago, it was hard to settle the issue and get your money back. About two months ago I made a purchase that didn't fit, when I notified the seller, they told me to return it and they paid for the return postage. All I had to do was to print it and attach it to the box. Took it to USPS. No problem. 2 weeks later they reminded me that they deposited my money back into my account. I was amazed. They never sold my information to anybody. Their data base were hacked one time and I don't remember what transpired. May be you think they sold your information. But I can assure you based on my experience that they wouldn't do it. I received some emails that looked like as if Paypal send it to me. I don't respond to those kind of emails. As I am aware the senders embed viruses. Please talk to people that are good with computers before you accuse Paypal.
