True, I think the UFO subject was done to death. Beating a dead horse with that one. Most of the original old timers either died or retired. There aren't any real Ufologists now, with the exception of a few like:

Robert Sheaffer (from BadUFos.com, long time CSICOP-er)
Kevin Randle
Bruce MacAbee (Questionable, since he supports the McMinville photos)
Jerome Clark (historian & writer, not really an investigator)
Joe Nickell (debunker, investigator)
Jenny Randles
John Greenwald Jr. (I appreciate his Black Vault Work, and FOIA work. But he wasn't the first guy to do that kind of thing. Phil Klass, Barry Greenwood, Friedman, and others we're doing that in the 70/80's.)

... I don't include Richard Dolan, or most of the newer crop. I think they're hacks. I dismiss virtually all pro-alien abduction authors.

I see what you're saying regarding UFOS, totally agree!! It is boring now, and I partly chalk that up to George picking bad guests. The Barney and Betty Hill "abduction" is just the tip of the iceberg to choose from, but due to their own superficial knowledge of Ufology, they can't progress past it. It almost seems intellectually dishonest to be so shallow, and NON Curious, to re-hash the same one or two abductions.

There is a book out there right now called "How UFOs Conquered the World" by David Clarke. It's basically a debunker work, but it would be a great show, different view point. Open people's minds.

It just seems like they have a VERY limited pool of available guest to choose from. Either that or they ain't looking hard enough :-)

Noory is in talks to host a cable show about trannies called "Who Wants To Cork My Hole?".
